Larry, with his wife Edna, returned to UBC after teaching the performing arts for 25 years (and after their children had flown the coop). He completed a doctorate in 2006 and his thesis, Requiem for Peace - in 13 languages - has had 25 performances world wide including at the World Choir Games in Magdeburg and at Carnegie Hall. Larry sang in Chor Leoni for five years, the Vancouver Chamber Choir for six years, directed the Jubilate Vocal Ensemble for five years, and is currently singing with the Vancouver Cantata Singers. Larry and Edna own and operate Cypress Choral Music, which promotes the music of over 180 Canadian composers. Living by the sea-wall in Yaletown, Larry walks his dog Bohdi to Stanley Park before breakfast each morning.
